Neutralisation

Lip Neutralisation is a specialised cosmetic tattoo procedure designed to correct, brighten, and even out dark, cool, or uneven pigmentation in the lips. Often recommended for clients with melanin-rich skin tones, or lips affected by scarring or discolouration, this treatment uses advanced colour theory and carefully selected pigments to gently neutralise unwanted tones — such as purples, blues, or greys.

How It Works:

A colour-correcting pigment is tattooed into the lips using a gentle digital machine technique

The pigment used is tailored to the individual’s undertones and level of pigmentation

Several sessions may be required depending on the depth of the original lip tone

After healing, lips appear more even, brighter, and naturally enhanced

Ideal for:

Fitzpatrick skin types IV–VI

Clients who feel self-conscious about lip darkness

Those wanting a more uniform lip base before colour is added
